Are you going (or can you) release a mapper 2 version like you did with Plummet Challenge? I have a portable NES emulator on my 3DS but it only works with that mapper/
Rad! I'm not sure what most people scrape, but I usually tell people to search itch by the "NES ROM" tag to find the stuff that runs on original hardware. A lot of the other tags are a bit of a mix of actual NES games and "NES Inspired" games. My buddy @Skunky48 on Twitch was the one playing it. I'll probably give it a go this weekend, too but I only average like 3-4 people per stream haha

This is so fun... and HARD! I've only played the Friday the 13th level so far... but I did collect all the orbs and beat Jason. It took me many tries... but I did it! The style of the plat forming kind of reminds me of those old Acclaim NES Simpsons games like Bart VS The World... in a good way.
Lastly, I was surprised to hear that Phantasmagoria music during the story screen intro.... I love that game and didn't expect to hear it in an NES game.
I saved my progress and will continue playing this more tonight. :-)

Allways impressed with 8bitslasher's work, and this game only adds to that! Great music and atmosphere, exactly the kinda lo-bit horror that hits exactly right. Love that there is a boss battle mode so you can practice the bosses and not have to replay the levels again and again to learn the boss patterns.
It was for sure a grueling 15 months to get this bad boy made.. and it was 100% worth it! Super proud of what it's become. Thank you for all the kind words. YOU RULE! 🪦🩸🖤

You should get with Dalyen Games and do a proper boxed physical with full manual.
I totally would, but due to copyright issues with using other people’s IPs, I sadly can’t. I do have 3 original games I made at Dalyen though! Carpet Shark, Plummet Challenge Game, and The Arm Wrestling Classic.

Which mapper does this use? I was wanting to flash it to a cartridge using my RetroStage kit and need to know which cart to use.

Phantasmagoria was one of my favorite games growing up. I had to show it some love for having such a big impact on my teenage years.
